Meet the Founder
Doug Huff is the Founder and CEO of Marquee Hospitality Group, a collection of locally rooted hospitality concepts created to bring new energy, experiences, and gathering places to downtown Plainfield, Indiana. As a longtime entrepreneur and business owner, Doug’s vision grew from a desire to invest in his own community and create the places he wished existed, places with character, great food, genuine hospitality, and a strong sense of connection. That vision began with the preservation and redevelopment of local landmarks and now includes Oasis Diner, The Prewitt Restaurant + Lounge, Roots Market & Eatery, and The Eyrie Event Space, each with its own identity but a shared purpose: to serve others and contribute to a more vibrant downtown Plainfield. For Doug, Marquee Hospitality Group is about more than building businesses; it’s about creating places that bring people together and leave the community better than he found it.
